Sensei Nick Dominguez started his martial arts training at the age of 14 studying Shotokan Karate under Sensei John P. Slocum in New York City. He continued his training until age 19 when he left New York to attend Kent State University in Ohio. During his college years Nick continued his training for four more years. Nick returned to martial arts training in January 2000 when he joined Asian Martial Arts under Sensei Jeff Burlingame.

Sensei Dominguez is currently a Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt) and licensed by the Seibukan Karate-Do Association in teaching Shorin-Ryu Karate in the Seibukan Dojo.

He is currently teaching the Little Warrior classes, actively assists in teaching Level II and Level III classes. He also developed and is teaching the S.A.F.E. Child Protection Program, which is currently being introduced to children in the Medina City School District.

Sensei Dominguez is married with 3 children and has been a resident of Medina since 1984.
